Looking Good in Pictures

Your Awesome….

Looking good in pictures

It’s the 3rd and finally the last time for a family picture, since Aunt Sally blinked and Cousin Johnny turned away. So photographer yells with a tired voice “Say cheese on 3. 1, 2, 3...” CLICK! Everybody looks interesting, and you well you look magnificent! Your hair is sparkly, and your eyes are beautifully wide! Your look great and everyone else likes horrific! Even your beautiful cousin Janey looks awkward! This feeling is awesome!

Well I have to be honest, I never was the one who looked “fancy ‘n’ fine” in photos, I either had my eyes shut or my hair looked like my cat played with it or I wasn’t even paying attention ! One year ago we have a family reunion, when I went there I saw cameras flying out. The first thing that came to my mind was “OH no is there any greens hiding in my teeth? ! “. After wards we viewed the photos, I have to say I looked super mega awesome! And the other well they looked very interesting! Those photos made me laugh a storm up to. All thanks to my brothers long hair and my Uncles misshapen mustache!
All in all I looked like a “Stunner!”! That feeling always makes me happy!

Let’s pull out our cameras and strike a silly pose! Laugh some and smile some. These pictures are ones to never forget!

Inside Picnics

Just grab warm blankets some scrumsious foods and keep in handy a movie or 2! Indoor picnics keep you warm during the cold winters or a warm summer storm.

When I was about 5 years of age my brother, mom and I would hope for humid rainy days or crazy cold “Teeth Clenching” days. When those weather patterns occurred it meant an indoor picnic for sure!

We would play old favorites like Toy Story, Land of the lost, Inspector Gadget and much more. My mom feel asleep, that was a great time to start some epic adventures. Like our own living room turning into a zoo, or a campsite with robot, even act like we are in the movie! But my favorite is pretending you’re a rap. The blanket is the pita bread, you’re the meat and your feel all cozy and sweet. This child hood memory stays with me, because on PA-Days we have another indoor picnic!

Inside picnics are the best, because with all the blankets and cloud-like pillows it can turn in to anything deep in your heart and imagination!

Nana's,Grandma's & Nona's House

Your awesome...
Grandmas House
You walk in a skinny man, walk out a big fat man. Grandma has a nice smell and she makes you feel warm and soft. But how does she do it so well? With all the scents and love and feelings, but the place it takes place at is in her house!
My nana used to live with us in our basement, so we had and still do have a very close relationship. So when October 31 came I was petrified. All the ghost and goblin stories freaked me out. So I would run down the stairs to her house and she would comfort me. We would sit together on the couch eating cookies and watching Arthur. She always made me feel special and sweet. I love her, her scent , the food and her house. All the love took place at her house.
Grandmas make you feel loved and warm. But as said it all happens at her cute little house.

Fresh Cut Grass: Awesome

Your Awesome...
The smell of fresh cut grass

You walk outside; your toes grip the fresh grass that has just been cut. You breathe in, the aroma of the grass; your nostrils sense summer in the air.

My dad is a landscaper, which means he obsesses over grass and plants. I always loved that sweet of grass after getting cut. Just standing in the middle of the yard about mid June and the smell of the grass will remind you of so many things. Like “Don’t worry 3 more weeks of school left.” Or “Grab a nice cone of ice cream.” Whenever I smell that those thoughts and more flew throughout my head. It also keeps me wondering how it smells this glorious. The smell always gets me smiling.

Life isn't the same without jaw dropping scents. For me fresh cut grass is one of them. It reminds us of so many things or even just letting us not think of anything but summer!

Your awesome...
 Old people smiling at you
Everyone has positive moments. Ones to smile for and laugh for! When  I see a person who is about 85 years old and smiling and still think that the glass is haft full. That  makes everyone smile and think positive!

When I was younger I was told that if you smile to someone they will probably smile back. I tried this theory out at my Great Nanas Home for the Elderly. So when I saw one man who was just sitting in a wheel chair all alone I looked at him and smiled. And guess what they were right about smiling! He showed me a toothless smile. This feeling was great! So whenever I saw someone I would show my choppersto them, especially an old person because of how sweet their smile is and how optimistic they are.

So know I think old people sort of teach us a lesson, always smile no matter how many teeth you do have and be positive at ever state in your life.
